The AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB mower is suitable for mowing on slopes of up to 45°. This engine complies with the current European exhaust directive 97/68/EC and is therefore the only 2-stroke engine on petrol lawnmowers that complies with the exhaust directive. The AS 2-stroke engine has an EasyStart function as standard. The digital CDI ignition system halves the starting speed, so that the AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB mower starts very easily. Even in tall, wet grass, the petrol lawnmower develops its full power. This is thanks to the high torque produced by the AS-Motor 2-stroke engine. The third crankshaft bearing, combined with the safety blade holder and the friction discs on the blade, ensures optimum engine protection.
The 4-wheel drive, combined with the 2-stroke engine, makes it possible to work in extreme conditions, on uneven and chaotic terrain, and even on slopes. The 4-wheel drive ensures excellent propulsion in all conditions. Thanks to the large, streamlined drive wheels, the AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB mower always has a firm grip on the ground. If the slope becomes so steep that the transmission can no longer support it, the brake comes into play. This also serves as a parking brake.
With the Variomat, the driving speed can be comfortably and gradually adjusted to suit different circumstances. The AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB also has a reverse gear. The cutting height can be comfortably adjusted in 6 different positions from 30 to 100 mm per axle. The powerful 2-stroke engine with up to 6.0 hp and a cutting width of 53 cm enable mowing of up to 2,500 m² per hour. The AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB mower can cut grass up to 40 cm high without any problems.
