AS-Motor’s family of ride-on mowers for the highlands begins with the AS 799 Rider. The ride-on mower is equipped with a 344 cc Briggs & Stratton Motor 3 Powerbuilt engine. The engine develops up to 10.6 HP and the geared blade drive allows grass to be mown up to 60 cm high. With the cutting deck closed, the cut grass is also defibrated. The 4-step adjustment allows the cutting height to be set from 35 to 85 mm. In addition, the cutterbar is automatically switched off when the mechanical blade coupling has reached the parking position of the blade housing. The AS 799 Rider is driven by a hydrostatic transmission. This allows an optimal and sensitive adjustment of the speed for each application. The speed can be infinitely varied between 0 and 8.0 km/h forwards and between 0 and 6.0 km/h backwards.

The length-adjustable bucket seat guarantees a great deal of legroom. This allows the user to sit upright and comfortably.
