AS 800 FreeRider – the big brother of the AS 799 Rider. Like the AS 799 Rider, the big brother AS 800 FreeRider is equipped with the Briggs & Stratton 3 Series Intek engine. With its maximum power of 13.0 HP and the geared blade drive, the ride-on mower mows tall grass up to 80 cm. This is due to the AS cross blade system, among other things. With the mower deck closed, the cut grass is evenly broken up and mulched. The cut grass is deposited in the centre and between the wheels. This ensures that the cut grass is not driven over and therefore provides greater safety when mowing in wet and sloping conditions. The cutting deck also allows you to mow right up to the edge of the lawn. The cutting height can be adjusted centrally and there are 4 different cutting heights from 35 to 85 mm. When the cutting deck reaches the parking position, the cutting bar is automatically stopped by the mechanical coupling of the blades. The hydrostatic transmission allows a progressive drive with speeds from 0.0 to 8.0 km/h forward and from 0.0 to 6.0 km/h reverse. This allows optimum and sensitive adjustment of the speeds for each application. The differential lock offers improved propulsion, especially on uneven terrain. It can be activated at any time with the pedal.

The all-round tubular frame of the AS 800 FreeRiders ensures high stability and resistance to warping even under heavy loads. The bumper also protects the axles and wheel suspensions. The user enjoys an upright and comfortable sitting position thanks to the front and rear adjustable bucket seat and the great legroom this creates. In addition, the easy-to-handle steering ensures fatigue-free operation.
The mower can mow up to 6,800 m² per hour. This is made possible by the powerful engine combined with the hydrostatic drive and the cutting width of 80 cm. The 15-litre tank also ensures a long operating time. The AS 800 FreeRider is ideal for use on flat or uneven ground. Thanks to the engine with fuel and oil pump, the low centre of gravity and the low overall weight of 231 kg, the ride-on mower is perfect for slopes. The limits are set by the safety of the user.
