The fast and manoeuvrable ride-on mower with differential lock for moderate slopes
Small turning radius, high power density. The AS 920 Sherpa 2WD is characterised by an extremely small turning circle of only 65 cm. It can mow up to 9,450 m² per hour. This is made possible by the powerful Briggs & Stratton 2-cylinder engine with 724 cc and up to 27 HP. The ride-on mower is also equipped with a 90 cm wide, closed, surfaced mowing deck. Thanks to the closed, surfaced mowing deck, the mower avoids obstacles by swerving upwards. It is even possible to drive over bumps, as the blades are not in contact with the ground. The blades and the mown lawn are thus effectively protected. The shape of the mowing plate allows for mowing flush to the edge. The cross blades ensure good mulching. The freely movable blades on the cutterbar cut the grass. The mulching blades on top of the cutterbar cut and mulch the grass. The cut grass is deposited in the centre and between the wheels. This ensures safety in wet conditions, especially on slopes. With this mowing system, the AS 920 Sherpa 2WD can mow grass up to 1.5 m and dense brush. The five cutting heights from 50 to 105 mm are centrally and conveniently adjustable. An optional mulching kit is available for even finer mulching.

Comfortable operation with the added safety feature
The AS 920 Sherpa 2WD has a progressive drive via the hydrostatic transmission. This means that the ride-on mower can be driven comfortably and precisely in forward gear from 0 to 10.5 km/h and in reverse gear from 0 to 8.2 km/h. The mower is operated using the driving lever. Special feature: The lever can be used to drive both forward and reverse. In addition, the driving and parking brake functions are integrated into the lever. This makes driving the machine easy, comfortable and safe. In difficult conditions, the differential lock, which can be activated with the foot pedal, ensures optimum traction and propulsion.

Comfort and stability
The all-round tubular frame ensures high stability and resistance to twisting. This means that the AS 920 Sherpa 2WD performs its work reliably even in rough conditions. In addition, lashing points are integrated into the frame for safe transport. The “go-kart” style seating position ensures absolutely comfortable working. People between 1.60 m and 1.90 m tall have enough room. The seat position can be adjusted in length to allow for an optimal and comfortable position for each individual’s height.
