DESCRIPTION
The Aequilibrium ST GTX is the lightweight technical hiking boot ideal for vie ferrate, trekking, glacier and mixed-terrain traverses. Maximum wearing comfort thanks to the tongue with integrated gusset and soft snow gaiter placed on the collar. Exceptional walkability thanks to the ‘innovative Double Heel™ heel construction: the very pronounced double rear gusset geometry increases the braking effect on descents and allows a smoother roll, reducing muscle fatigue. Durability and lightness coexist in harmony thanks to the new outsole/midsole package with Rubber Guard™ outer shell construction and internal foam material for accentuated cushoning and lightness derived from fewer rubber layers. The last is Ergonomic: snug and precise with TPU shells integrated into the toe and heel to reinforce the upper. The directional 3D Flex System Evo™ joint with contoured malleolus and anti-abrasion protection allows better control of the footing and perfect ankle mobility. The lacing protection gaiter at the toe protects against chafing. The midsole is semi-bounceable, and the sole adopts a Vibram® SpringLug Tech tread with Impact Brake System lugs for greater adaptability to hard rock surfaces. Mountaineering in perfect harmony.
