Technical and aesthetic re-design of Akasha, the footwear from the La Sportiva Mountain Running® collection dedicated to endurance competitions, perfect for long-distance runs, UltraMarathons, Ultra-Trails and extended use in training. Comfort of fit is provided by cushioning, thanks to the Cushion Platform™ footbed insert and large internal volumes as well as the soft, breathable and snug Slip-on construction upper that avoids compression points during the run. Dynamic ProTechTion™ front active reinforcements provide protection and structure by following the movement of the foot dynamically and without constriction. The grippy, bi-compound FriXion® Red outsole features the exclusive Trail Rocker™ solution that promotes the natural “outer heel – inner toe” movement of the foot during running. Ortholite® Hybrid laces and footbed are also made of recycled materials. Akasha II: The code of the ultra-runner is expressed through protection, comfort and cushioning.
