Akira is a structured and protective mountain running shoe, ideal for endurance routes such as ultra trails and ultra marathons. Particularly enveloping, comfortable and protective, it is a trail shoe that is particularly suitable for long off-road routes.

It uses a very enveloping and comfortable upper built on 3 layers that offer the following features from the inside to the outside: Comfort, thanks to the seamless construction, flexibility and structure thanks to the innovative MicroLite Skeleton™ applications that dynamically accompany the foot while walking, protection, thanks to the Flex-Guard™ structural applications in microfibre that give the shoe lightness and still provide a barrier against possible abrasions when grazing rocks and roots. The exceptional stability is provided by the TrailCage System™ technology, which is located between the two layers of the upper and gives the shoe structure and fit by being integrated into the lacing system. The sole developed by La Sportiva R&D with the new shoe profile and FriXion XT compound with Impact Brake System and the exclusive Trail Rocker design, which supports the natural “heel out toe in” foot strike while running: cushioning, protection and comfort, 3 sides with perfect geometry: the origami that inspires the entire design of the footwear.
