Akyra is the structured and protective mountain running shoe suitable for endurance trails such as Ultra Trails and Ultra Marathons. Particularly snug, comfortable and protective, it is a trail shoe designed for extended use on off-road terrain.

It adopts a very enveloping comfortable upper structured on 3 layers that confer from the inside out: comfort, thanks to the seamless construction, flexibility and structure thanks to the innovative MicroLite Skeleton™ application that follows the movement of the foot dynamically during the run, protection thanks to the Flex-Guard™ structural microfiber applications that keep the shoe lightweight but at the same time provide a barrier against abrasions possible by running among rocks and roots. Exceptional stability is provided by the TrailCage System™ technology that placed between the two layers of the upper gives structure and wrapping by integrating with the lacing system. The sole developed by La Sportiva’s R&D department mounts the new grippy FriXion XT tread with Impact Brake System and exclusive design with Trail Rocker technology that promotes the natural “outer heel-inner toe” support of the foot while running.Cushioning, protection and comfort, 3 sides of a perfect geometry: the origami, from which the overall design of the shoe is inspired.
