Structured and protective mountain running shoe suitable for endurance trails such as Ultra Trails and Ultra Marathons. Akyra is particularly snug, comfortable and flexible, designed for extended trail use.

It adopts a very comfortable wraparound upper structured on 3 layers that provide from the inside out: comfort, thanks to the seamless construction, flexibility and structure thanks to the innovative MicroLite Skeleton™ application that follows the movement of the foot dynamically during the run, protection thanks to the structural Flex-Guard™ applications in microfibre that keep the shoe light but at the same time provide a barrier against the abrasions possible when running among rocks and roots. Exceptional stability is provided by the TrailCage System™ technology, which is placed between the two layers of the upper and gives structure and wrapping by integrating with the lacing system. The sole developed by La Sportiva’s R&D department features the new FriXion XT grippy tread with Impact Brake System and exclusive design with Trail Rocker technology which favours the natural “external heel-internal toe” support of the foot during the run. Cushioning, protection and comfort, 3 sides of a perfect geometry: the origami, which inspired the overall design of the shoe. With Akyra running is an art.
