Leather approach shoe, made with innovative solutions in the construction of the upper and sole/midsole system developed specifically by La Sportiva for the approach world.

The fit is ergonomic and precise thanks to the special all-around tie rod assembly system which wraps the shoe at 360° and connects to the lacing system. The tie-rod also wraps the midsole in an innovative way at the front, helping to distribute tension evenly throughout the shoe. This construction system derives from the know-how developed by La Sportiva in the world of climbing shoes. The rubber toe cap is also derived from climbing shoes with a construction that allows for continuity between the edge and sole for greater sensitivity when climbing. The EVA midsole features a “Rock Guard” platform at the toe and a shock-absorbing insert at the rear to facilitate ankle support and avoid unnatural twisting. The Vibram Idrogrip sole has been made with specific features for approaching and is equipped with an Impact Brake System on the heel and inner part, suction cups on the outer part and a climbing zone on the toe. The ultimate in La Sportiva technology applied to approach footwear.

Midsole: Compression-moulded MEMlex EVA midsole with soft injection EVA cushioning + extra density “Rock Guard” platform + anti-torsion and stabilising TPU insert at rear.
