Jackal is the mountain running shoe dedicated to off-road running over ultra distances and extended training over medium distances thanks to the exceptional cushioning provided by the innovative Infinitoo™ high energy return technology. Every detail, from the upper to the outsole, is designed to promote foot comfort over long distances: comfortable fit and wide fit designed for use in ultra-marathons, snug and soft comfort fit elastic tongue for maximum freedom of movement, internal gusset construction protection against stones or mud. The lacing system sees the loops incorporated directly into the side panels of the upper: a solution that facilitates volume adaptation during long-distance runs where the foot tends to swell. Lateral Net-Mesh promotes ventilation and climate comfort. The heart of Jackal, however, lies in the innovative EVA outsole/midsole package with Infinitoo™ Technology high energy return polyurethane internal cushioning pads. The front element increases cushioning, and the rear insert helps stabilize the ride. The midsole also integrates a high-density EVA Rock-Shield insert for a more stable ride and rock-guard effect. The tread is made of Frixion Red compound with Impact Brake System differentiated-thickness tread blocks and longitudinal FLEX grooves that promote sole bending along the crease lines. The lightweight, shock-absorbing thermo-formed toe box contributes lightness and protection while the FriXion Red bimescola outsole for maximum grip and durability.
