With BETA-SPUN technology the MERINO COOL LOGO TOP receives the necessary stability: by means of the protective polyamide sheath the fabric gains resistance to abrasion and tears. At the same time, the fine Merino wool fibers ensure extraordinary comfort and optimal temperature, while the TencelTM fibers, thanks to their smooth surface and high evaporation, cool when it is hot.

In the 150 MERINO COOL line, ORTOVOX combines TencelTM fiber derived from sustainable forestry with Merino wool. The wood fibers are distinguished by their high evaporative heat loss and their smooth surface that allows them to cool themselves. The combination of materials gains strength and durability with a complex spinning method: the BETA-SPUN technology defines a manufacturing process by which thin polyamide filaments are spun around Merino wool and TencelTM. Thanks to the protective polyamide sheathing, the fabric becomes extremely strong and abrasion-resistant without, however, losing the advantages of cooling Merino wool and TencelTM fibers.
