The massive, bizarre towers of San Martino rise from the rocky plateau. Those who climb here, on the southernmost massif of the Dolomites need strong nerves – and equally strong gear. We designed our MERINO SHIELD TEC line precisely for these long alpine routes!

The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the women’s PALA LIGHT VEST has passed more than 50,000 rubbing cycles in the Martindale test, whereby abrasion resistance is tested. Additional inserts provide maximum protection from rough rocks in particularly exposed areas such as the shoulders, forearms and hips. The four-way stretch fabric ensures full freedom of movement, supported by an athletic cut and pre-shaped elbows. Thanks to its membrane-free construction, the women’s PALA LIGHT VEST is especially breathable, and the fine Merino wool on the inside and Merino MESH inserts in the collar make it even more pleasant to wear.

The athletic cut and elastic hems ensure an optimal fit and maximum freedom of movement when climbing. There is room in the chest pocket for a topographic map, cell phone, a candy bar or other small items that need to be within easy reach during a long day in the mountains.

For the sake of the environment, the entire MERINO SHIELD TEC line is completely PFC-free and climate-neutral with CO2 offsetting. With its modern look, the women’s PALA LIGHT VEST is capable of tackling long climbs on high rock faces.
