Ultra-lightweight performance – from the plains to the summit: the WESTALPEN 3L LIGHT women’s high-alpine hiking trousers were developed for ambitious female mountaineers seeking the perfect symbiosis of lightness, protection and functionality. The new 3L WESTALPEN LIGHT outfit with jacket and trousers is easily stowable and versatile.
The 3-layer Dermizax® NX structure protects against extreme weather conditions, while the technical design is completely focused on the needs of mountaineers in high alpine terrain. The outer material is completely windproof and waterproof thanks to the particularly high-performance DERMIZAX® NX membrane, which, however, does not affect breathability and freedom of movement.
For the WESTALPEN 3L LIGHT women’s high mountain hiking trousers, we have also used reinforced material in the hem area to ensure protection from abrasion on rocky terrain or with ice screws. An internal hem adjustment with 2 locking devices also offers a clean-lined look and an optimal fit over mountaineering boots. Ventilation zips ensure a pleasant temperature even on strenuous climbs. Additional comfort is provided by Merino-Tec inserts at the waist and hooks for adjusting the width.
