This is precisely where the WESTALPEN SOFTSHELL line comes into action: the combination of wear-resistant MERINO NATURETEC RIPS inserts, NATURETEC LIGHT material and fine Merino wool on the inside makes the line robust, breathable and comfortable.

The special feature of the WESTALPEN SOFTSHELL women’s high-alpine hiking trousers is the QUICK-GAITER system, which completely replaces the cuffs: the hem adjustment system developed by ORTOVOX allows the trousers to be adjusted quickly and easily in three steps, fitting the boot perfectly. The fastening straps under the boot are made of scratch-resistant Dyneema material and when not in use can be stowed away without any problem. Thanks to additional features such as the wear-resistant schoeller® inserts or ventilation zips, the WESTALPEN SOFTSHELL women’s high-alpine hiking trousers can be adapted to all situations and weather conditions. Merino mesh inserts in the area of the elastic waistband, with adjustable width, ensure optimal comfort. For the sake of the environment, these high-altitude trekking trousers are also PFC-free and are manufactured in Europe, avoiding long transport distances.
