TECHNICAL SWISSWOOL JACKET FOR HIGH ALTITUDE TOURING
FUNCTIONAL MERINO FLEECE JACKET WITH SWISSWOOL INSERTS FOR SKIING AND ALPINE TOURING
HIGHLIGHTS
Water and wind repellent
Swisswool insulation for extra warmth and protection
Fine merino wool on the inside
Swiss virgin wool meets Tasmanian lightness: the WESTALPEN Swisswool HYBRID high-touring jacket for women is the unique combination of Swisswool insulation and MERINO FLEECE GRID material with Tasmanian merino wool on the inside.
The 60 g/m² Swisswool filling is used wherever extra protection and warmth is needed. The sustainable Swiss virgin wool is wrapped in a stretchy, breathable and wind-resistant Swisswool TEC-STRETCH material. Coordinated with the light filling and the elastic outer material, our MERINO FLEECE GRID is processed in the hybrid jacket: The fleece material not only gives a lot of freedom of movement and is pleasant on the skin, but also has a high heat retention capacity thanks to the channel structure. In addition, the Tasmanian merino wool on the inside regulates the moisture and temperature balance, is soft on the skin and has naturally odour-neutralising properties. The combination of Swisswool in the chin area and FLEECE GRID MATERIAL in the neck ensures optimum climate comfort. The backpack-optimised chest pocket offers storage space for a bar, mobile phone or map.

MERINO INSIDE
Our sustainable MERINO WOOL comes from controlled, species-appropriate sheep farming. It is pleasantly soft, easy to care for and, thanks to its moisture- and temperature-regulating properties, ensures an optimal body climate.
SWISSWOOL
We have been using Swisswool, the wool fibre from Switzerland, as an insulation material since 2011. As a sustainable wool with regional origins, it has excellent thermal properties even when wet, is easy to care for and offers optimal climate comfort.
