Compact energy absorber

ABSORBICA® is a compact energy absorber that can be used in conjunction with a JANE lanyard to make a fall arrest lanyard. Equipped with a tear webbing, located in a case that can be opened at the ends, the absorber is protected from abrasion, allowing for periodic checks. There are two ways to install it on the harness depending on the frequency of use.

Designed to be used in conjunction with a JANE lanyard to make a fall arrest lanyard up to two meters long.
Absorbs energy in the event of a fall:
– tears through the energy absorber webbing to reduce the arrest force experienced by the user,
– works with users weighing between 50 and 140 kg,
– Progressive tearing to reduce the deceleration suffered by light weights.
Minimum encumbrance: compact so as not to hinder the maneuvers.
Durable fabric case with opening system at the ends to protect the energy absorber from abrasion or projections, allowing periodic inspection of the absorber,
Two installation options on the harness depending on use:
– frequent connection/disconnection: with a carabiner held in the correct position by the STRING positioning accessory (supplied with the absorber) or with a MICRO SWIVEL swivel to prevent kinking,
– quasi-permanent connection: with a RING OPEN ring whose circular shape guarantees optimal positioning or with a SWIVEL OPEN swivel to avoid kinks.
