Ultra comfortable harness for difficult access

With an integrated CROLL L ventral ascender, the ASTRO BOD FAST harness is designed to promote efficiency and comfort in rope ascents. The opening ventral attachment point allows optimal integration of devices (ascender, seat…). The semi-rigid wide waistbelt and leg loops provide excellent hold. They are preformed and lined with breathable padding for comfort in suspension. Self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles at the back of the harness, between the waistbelt and leg loops, allow short adjustment when using the back attachment point. The harness also facilitates transport and organization of work tools with different tool holders and loops to install CARITOOL tool holders and TOOLBAG tool cases. It integrates a fall indicator at the dorsal attachment point and is certified to European and North American standards. AVAO BOD FAST international version is equipped with leg loops with FAST buckles.

Detailed Description.
Openable ventral attachment point allowing optimal integration of devices:
– connection of the CROLL L ventral ascender on the ventral attachment point for more effective rope ascent,
– a PROGRESS lanyard directly on the ventral attachment point,
– connection of the PODIUM seat on the axis to allow direct allocation on the descender, ensuring the mobility of the ventral attachment point.
Ultra comfortable construction:
– semi-rigid wide waistband and leg loops for excellent hold; pre-shaped and lined with breathable padding for comfort in suspension,
– padded shoulder straps, separated from the neck, to limit chafing. In the event of a load on the belt, they take this load and spread it over the shoulders,
– metal side attachment points that make it easy to attach devices and can be folded inward to prevent unintentional attachment when not in use.
Convenient adjustments:
– belt and suspenders equipped with self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles for quick and easy adjustment,
– leg loops and suspenders equipped with FAST buckles for easier donning of the harness. Opening and closing is quick and easy without losing the adjustment, even with gloves on,
– DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles at the back of the harness, between the waistbelt and leg loops, allowing adjustment for use on the dorsal attachment point. In the event of a fall on this point, a short adjustment allows weight to be distributed on the leg loops and thus remain suspended in the harness longer while waiting for rescue.
Facilitates transport and organization of work gear:
– six preformed equipment carriers with protective sheathing,
– two CARITOOL tool holder loops,
– two loops for TOOLBAG tool pouch.
International version incorporating a fall indicator: a red webbing appears following a fall at the dorsal attachment point to indicate that the harness should be removed.
