Compact self-braking descender for difficult access intended for experienced users

The RIG compact self-braking descender for difficult access is designed for experienced users. It features an ergonomic handle to comfortably control the descent. The AUTO-LOCK system makes it easy to position yourself on the work site, without having to use the handle and realize the arrest key. Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to use the handle. The opening click allows the rope to be installed while keeping the device connected to the harness.

Designed for experienced users in hard-to-access areas.
Ease of use:
– has an opening click on the movable flange that allows easy rope insertion, keeping the device connected to the harness, and facilitating the passage of splits,
– easy installation of the rope, thanks to the guide and indicative markings,
– ergonomic handle to release the rope and comfortably control the descent. Two descent options: on the flange or in the V-brake groove,
– AUTO-LOCK system that allows easy positioning at the work station, without having to use the handle and realize the stop key: when the user releases the handle, the rope is automatically locked in the device. The automatic return of the handle reduces the risks of unintentional hooking,
– automatic transition of the handle to the rest position when the rope is removed from the device, which reduces the risks of involuntary hooking when carrying the descender on the harness.
Versatility of use:
– once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to use the handle, allowing, for example, short rope ascents to be made easily,
– cam that can be used to pick up rope easily or belay a lead climber with climbing technique.
Protective reinforcement, made of stainless steel in the rope rubbing area, allowing for increased wear resistance.
Heavy load descent up to 200 kg.
Rope compatibility: 10 to 11.5 mm diameter.
Available in two colors: yellow and black.
