Ultra-lightweight 9.2 mm multitype rope for performance in climbing or mountaineering

The VOLTA 9.2 mm single rope offers the lightness climbers and mountaineers need. This rope benefits from Duratec Dry treatment to ensure maximum longevity and performance in all conditions. Thanks to its excellent prehension and maneuverability, maneuvers are made easy. It is available in various lengths according to its intended use, from 30 meters for classic mountaineering to 100 meters for long crag routes.

Detailed description.
Ultralight rope for performance in climbing and mountaineering:
– excellent diameter/lightness ratio,
– compact in the rope bag,
– reinforced strength, thanks to Duratec Dry treatment,
– UltraSonic Finish: the core and sock are joined at their ends by an ultrasonic finish called UltraSonic Finish. It allows for greater durability and prevents the rope end from breaking.
Comfort of use:
– flexible rope that facilitates coiling, ring handling and rope giving in belay devices,
– EverFlex treatment: specific heat treatment that stabilizes the threads and makes the rope more homogeneous. It provides excellent prehension and consistent handling over time,
– Duratec Dry treatment for use on rock, mixed, snow or ice: hydrophobic treatment that allows the rope to be more resistant to water, dirt and abrasion. Handling, prehension and characteristics are preserved longer in cold, wet conditions,
– ClimbReady winding: specific winding to make the rope ready for use. Avoids incorrect unwinding maneuvers by the user and increases longevity.
Prehensile grip that facilitates maneuvering:
– 40-spindle grip for better control,
– Middle Mark marking: mid-string distinction for easier maneuvering.
