The STIHL FSA 400 K is a very powerful cordless brushcutter from the STIHL AP system. With its short shaft, it is particularly suitable for professional clearing work in forests. In addition, the short shaft and standard STIHL 225-24 circular saw blade are ideal for professional garden and landscape maintenance and municipal workers to remove shrubs, bushes and thin trees even in narrow spaces.
Whether you are maintaining green spaces in noise-sensitive areas, removing undergrowth and scrub or cutting small trees as part of young stock maintenance, the STIHL FSA 400 K combines ergonomic working with fast work progress and a high level of operating and working comfort.
The ergonomic two-handed grip, specially designed for sawing applications, can be adjusted without tools using the folding clamp. The 10-point hole strip for hanging up the device and the integrated STIHL anti-vibration system help to reduce fatigue when working. You can use the ergonomic control handle to adjust the speed in 3 stages to work as efficiently and energy-savingly as possible. The energy-saving mode is indicated by an LED.
To ensure a long service life, the cordless brushcutter is not only equipped with a robust housing, but also with a durable steel drive shaft and an extremely sturdy aluminium protective tube, as well as a gearbox with a grease refill screw and protective stop for sawing applications. The air filter with metal mesh enables optimal engine cooling and is easy to clean.
The STIHL FSA 400 is ready for use with the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A for efficient use with STIHL fleet management.
In addition to the standard STIHL 225-24 circular saw blade, you can also use the FSA 400 K with the 3-wing brush blade, available as an accessory.
All cordless tools within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional use, even in adverse weather conditions. They are therefore certified to be splashproof. Their effectiveness is verified by demanding internal tests. The splash water protection of the cordless brush cutter FSA 400, which has already been proven in internal tests, has also been certified according to the IPX4 protection class.
