If you don’t yet own a STIHL AK system battery-operated machine, the STIHL FSA 80 R trimmer set is the ideal choice. In addition to the powerful STIHL AK System battery trimmer, the set also contains a STIHL AK 30 lithium-ion battery and the standard STIHL AL 101 charger. So you can get to work straight away. Do you want to cut the grass or trim the edges of small lawns quickly and easily at home? With its excellent cutting performance, the STIHL FSA 80 R will take care of all these tasks with ease. This trimmer is so quiet that it can easily be used without hearing protection, even in noise-sensitive areas.

The STIHL FSA 80 R has excellent balance. Its compact design makes for a comfortable working environment. The circular handle with soft components ensures great freedom of movement, giving you optimum flexibility when mowing – particularly handy for squeezing between trees and bushes or working in other tight spaces. The quick-release system makes it easy to adjust the handle to the user’s height for optimum ergonomic working conditions.

The brushless EC motor features a 2-stage variable speed control that lets you adjust the speed to suit your needs directly on the control handle. If you want to work at low revs, for example for lighter jobs such as edging, it’s best to opt for ECO mode (level 1). This will reduce energy consumption and extend battery life. On the other hand, if you need to do more demanding work, such as trimming thick grass, simply select level 2 using the slide switch, so you can enjoy the full power of your machine. The speed automatically adapts to the cutting tool fitted and can be adjusted continuously.

The STIHL FSA 80 R is supplied as standard with the STIHL AutoCut 27-2 mowing head. A wide range of additional cutting tools is also available as an option. The machine is equipped with a practical suspension ring that can be adjusted to the operator’s height without the need for tools, allowing the standard STIHL single harness to be attached, for example. It is also equipped with a suspension device for wall mounting.
