Cordless hedge trimmer HSA 140 R: professional tool for more flexibility when pruning
The extremely powerful and robust cordless hedge trimmer STIHL HSA 140 R is designed for demanding jobs in professional gardening and landscaping as well as in municipal services. Thanks to the low blade speed and the double-sided ground blade in the pruning version with a wider tooth spacing, even thicker branches are cut efficiently at a constant stroke rate. The EC motor ensures consistent performance and a long service life. You can adjust the stroke rate directly on the rotating multifunction handle in three stages ranging from 2,600 strokes/minute to 3,400 strokes/minute.
The STIHL HSA 140 R cordless hedge trimmer can be used extremely flexibly with its plug-in lithium-ion battery from the STIHL AP system. Its low noise and vibration levels make it possible to trim hedges even without hearing protection and even in noise-sensitive areas. The reversible multi-function handle, which can be turned 90° to the right or left, always supports an ergonomically favourable working position when cutting in different directions. Friction-optimised blades enable longer battery life and increased durability. The screwed-on cutting and guide guards protect you and the cutting set.
The STIHL HSA 140 R cordless hedge trimmer is available in two cutting lengths of 60 cm and 75 cm.
It is prepared for use with the optionally available STIHL Smart Connector 2 A.
All cordless devices within the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional use, even in adverse weather conditions. They are therefore provided with certified splash water protection. The effectiveness of this protection is verified by demanding internal tests. The splash water test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard.
The splash water protection of the STIHL HSA 140 R has already been verified in internal tests and has also been certified according to the IPX4 protection class.
