The STIHL KMA 120 R battery-powered CombiSystem engine can be combined with a wide range of CombiSystem tools. This makes it a valuable and efficient aid for all professional garden and landscape maintenance work or for demanding private users. The STIHL KMA 120 R impresses with its power and high level of efficiency. The desired tool, available from the STIHL CombiSystem range, can be attached in no time at all by means of the quick-release coupling with toggle screw via the interface on the handle. The circular handle offers optimum flexibility for all your work, especially when you have to work between trees and shrubs or in other tight spots. Thanks to the quick-release system, the handle can be adapted to the user’s height quickly and without tools, ensuring the most ergonomic working position possible. The stroke limiter is easy to fit and remove as required.

The powerful EC motor is so quiet that you can work without hearing protection in your garden or other noise-sensitive areas, such as around schools, near hospitals or in city parks. A 2-stage variable speed control is built directly into the control handle. The two levels available are as follows: in ECO mode (level 1), the engine runs at low revs, sufficient for less demanding applications. This reduces energy consumption and extends battery life. On the other hand, if you need to use the full power of your CombiSystem engine, for example to be able to work with the STIHL RG-KM reciprocator, simply select level 2 using the slide switch. You can also infinitely adjust the speed to suit your needs.

The low weight of the STIHL KMA 120 R also contributes to a comfortable working environment, which is particularly useful for long periods of use. And if you want to work comfortably for even longer, you can attach an optional double harness to the swivelling attachment ring. The optional STIHL base protects the battery from contact with the ground. It also provides an additional handle.

All battery-powered machines in the STIHL AP system are designed for professional users and for everyday use, even in adverse weather conditions. They are therefore equipped with tested splash protection. Their effectiveness is confirmed by stringent internal controls. In particular, the splash water test is based on the IPX4 standard.
